Action six: Supporting students throughout the reporting process
Creating change takes time, resources and determination. We’re sure you have the latter in abundance, but time and resources can often cause well intentioned plans to falter or be delayed. That’s where we can step in. All of our recommended actions in the Exceeding Expectations handbook are entirely achievable. If you need a helping hand getting you along the way, we’re here to support you in a number of ways. This is how we can help you in supporting students throughout the reporting process:
- Support articles
The support section of your reporting site comes complete with useful articles to guide your people through what they’ve experienced. We include topics such as definitions of unacceptable behaviour, myth busting, what happens when you report and signposting to further support.
- Bespoke Consultancy Day
Tailored to your organisational needs, these sessions are designed to help support your broader goals and objectives. Examples of consultancy day themes include: GDPR and compliance, Diversity and Inclusion, Process and policies, Using the system, Tracking data and trends and Understanding cultural problems. We’ll work with you to plan in consultancy days that will help you to improve your existing case management process so that you can provide the best support possible to your students and staff.
- Risk Assessment Framework
Culture Shift’s risk assessment framework was designed to help manage individual and organisational risk during disclosures or cases that may arise from using Report + Support. Often risk assessments can be applied inconsistently, and often aren’t documented. Culture Shift has worked to explore individual and organisational risk, balance these with legal obligations relating to safeguarding, harassment and other behaviours that may constitute a crime, to develop a consistent form and process to follow.
- Community of Practice
The Community of Practice is an online hub for our Gold Partners. It’s a space that enables free and open discussions around keys topics and best practice to help improve the ways we use the system and ultimately, how we offer support to the people who need it the most. Community of Practices’ are a common way of sharing knowledge between institutions, keeping up to date with best practice methodologies and a place for Culture Shift to empower our gold partners with expertise and knowledge to help them make the most of our their Culture Shift platform.
- Free webinars and blogs
As part of our continuous commitment to share thinking and best practice, members of the Culture Shift community are invited to our annual Knowledge Forum, and a number of other exclusive opportunities to share highlights and challenges through the year. We’re also consistently creating new content for our blog, providing you with advice and thoughts on the disclosure and reporting process as well as student support.
