The role

Reporting directly to the CEO and acting as a key member of the leadership team, as VP of Sales you will have responsibility for direct sales, channel sales, sales development, strategic partnerships, pre-sales and sales operations.

You will be responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organisation and leading the team to achieve aggressive growth and market disruption. As VP of Sales you will foster close working relationships and partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales department’s efficient operation and success.

Responsibilities

  • Create, establish, execute and drive new strategic plans to meet company growth and market share goals
  • Passionately lead, drive and deliver the vision and mission for the business to create a self-fulfilling prophecy of market leadership
  • Drive growth of existing accounts and acquire new customers
  • Execute expansion strategy
  • Develop annual sales forecasts using a combination of top-down and bottom-up input
  • Strive to keep ahead of industry trends, competitive activity and client opportunities
  • Provide exemplary leadership through training, coaching and mentorship to the sales organisation and set a daily example of core values and commitment to culture
  • Exceptional cross-organisation collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills with the ability to develop credibility and trust quickly
