We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative social media professional to help grow our social profile across various channels, primarily Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. The ideal candidate will be able to execute and influence the social media strategy with focus on driving engagement and demand generation.

In this exciting role, as part of our small Marketing team, you will lead the execution of paid and organic social media activities, generate leads, and ultimately, drive the business forward. Your goal will be to increase our online presence and drive traffic to the website using key digital channels.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing and growing a company/corporate social presence alongside enthusiasm for connecting and engaging with our audience, and creating high quality compelling content for use across our core channels.

You will manage all social media channels, campaigns, and work with our Content team members to create an engaging and consistent audience experience. Research and analysis of social media trends, including social media ad revenue and web visitor data, will help you to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy.

You’ll also be an integral driver of our personal branding campaign working with our CEO, Head of Marketing and wider team of Culture Shifters to deliver this.


  • Developing the company’s social media strategy and platforms (including target audience across each using social listening) to find gaps and opportunities for growth, particularly in regards to engagement, demand generation and paid social media costs vs returns
  • Researching and keeping on top of latest social media trends and conversations within our industry and target audience to develop and improve strategies
  • Helping to achieve and exceed monthly KPIs on social media engagement and lead generation
  • Analysing social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement
  • Working with the Content Marketers to develop and schedule engaging, creative, innovative social media content across all platforms in line with our brand guidelines and maintaining a consistent tone of voice which aligns with the company’s values and objectives
  • Working with the rest of the marketing team to help drive campaigns and event activity
  • Continuing to implement (and adapt if necessary) current processes such as atomising content across social media
  • Exploring opportunities across platforms we’re not currently utilising fully e.g. Facebook, TikTok, YouTube
  • Taking charge of the team’s personal branding campaigns – interviewing team members and helping to structure posts based on the things they want to be known for, to schedule each month
  • Monitors and develops reports on competitor activity within social media spaces
  • Skills required

    Required skills:

  • Adept understanding of social media platforms, predominantly LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram, analysing and improving engagement across them
  • A clear understanding of the power and importance of personal brand, and ability to execute strategies
  • A good understanding of YouTube and of optimising content on the platform
  • Experience using Facebook from a business perspective, particularly starting from scratch
  • Experience with paid social media (particularly LinkedIn)
  • Experience using social media scheduling tools (we use Content Cal)
  • Desirable skills:

  • Experience with SEO and Paid Search would be desirable
  • A keen eye for brand and design detail
  • Experience using Adobe PhotoShop or other image editing software would be a bonus
  • Experience as a social media executive in a previous role would be desirable
